KAKA‘AKO OUR KULEANA
A Free Urban Planning Academy for Everyone

Kaka‘ako Our Kuleana
A free workshop series open to the public to learn about planning and development issues in the changing neighborhoods of Honolulu's urban core. User-friendly planning tools and ideas were shared to help explore our kuleana as stewards of Kaka‘ako's future.
The Department of Urban and Regional Planning has developed FAQ documents for each workshop and gathered essential documentation for the workshop archive.
Kaka‘ako Our Kuleana workshop attendees and speakers asked how this “civic space” of connection can be continued into the future. Participants continue to meet and planned to form a community association for residents, business owners and anyone concerned with Kaka‘ako's future. For more info, join Kaka‘ako Our Kuleana Google Groups listserv.
